"3 Makes 4"

 

Ava turned 4 Dec. 1!  She can't stand that she isn't 3 any more.  Ava insists that "3 makes 4!  So I'm not 4!!"  I don't get it personally.  But she LOVED celebrating her birthday.  We just did a family thing.  While Eden was away at school, Ava helped me make her birthday cake.  What do you get when a 4 year old has complete say in the design and making of her cake?...

Taa-Daa!  A pepto-bismal with blue blobs frosting number four!

For the record.  I HATE and DESPISE decorating cakes.  I don't know if that is evident or not.  We were going for a rustic look.

"I'm cute even when I'm not suppose to be.  I had vaseline in my hair and Mom thought corn starch would get it out... it didn't.  But peanut butter did."

"I don't know.  I'm just a good kid.  I like my family.  They like me too.  I'm quirky.  Very quirky.  I still bounce myself... in my chair, in the car, on the bench at church, on the couch.  I love apple juice and my blanket goes with me every where."
