Nickel tagged me...
What were you doing 10 years ago? Ten years ago I was in my second year of college. I probably would have been slowly walking to class in the snow, lost in my inner most thoughts. That was a weird year for me in that I didn't know where the future was going to take me. I was broken up with the guy I thought I'd spend the rest of my life with ~ my high school sweetheart & first love, and after two years of college I still didn't know what the garbage I was going to major in! Luckily I had two of the coolest roommates to keep me side tracked with much more important things! ...And I like what the next ten years brought my way!
Things on my to-do-list today (for Saturday)
- Wake up early to attempt the practice round of a bride's up-do. She will be given the royal treatment in my unorganized freezing garage where my "hair salon" is currently held. I think the last bride's up-do I styled was this cute girl, which was a while ago, so I'm excited to tease & fancy some hair again.
- Then it was suppose to be painting Eden's room with my boyfriend, but he just told me he'll be heading back into the hospital for work! Boohoo.
- So plan B will be to start working on the bottom half of the hutch.
- Plan primary lesson that I was going to do after church last week, but procrastinated because I'm really great at procrastinating.
What would I do if I suddenly were a billionaire?
- Of course pay off our unbelievable amount of dept!
- Then pay off family's debts because that's what family is for (money, duh).
- Ask my brother-in-law to invest a ton of it for me in his hedge fund.
- Shop. (this just encompasses way too many avenues to actually go into detail)
- Hire a house and life organizer!
- And then what ever else I feel like because the sky's the limit when you own a billion dollars, right?
- Oh wait! I have also day dreamed of someday after paying for my groceries handing the casher some large amount of money and tell her it's to pay for the frazzled mother in line behind me with all her young children climbing on her. Then, keep the change.
Places I've lived?
- Las Vegas
- Cedar City, UT
- Provo, UT
- San Diego, CA
- Las Vegas
- Salt Lake, UT
- Las Vegas
- TN.
Jobs I've had?
- As a freshman in high school I had to dress up like Wendy from the fast food joint and do events for them and what not. Red hair, striped tights, goofy dress. I thought I would like that, but hated it! My sister, Nickel loved it however. That was right up her alley.
- TCBY
- Lifeguard at the Luxor Hotel
- Victoria Secret makeup artist (I sold their makeup in a retail store at the mall)
- Gymboree assistant manager
- Now a life long hair stylist.
Things People don't know about me...
- I love to sleep with earplugs in my ears. Oh, the peaceful silence.
- Sometimes I find myself watching the Lawrence Welk Show.
- I adore Goldie Hawn. If I were tall and skinny, I would bleach my hair and wear bangs in my eyes, wear tanktops & high heels with my skinny jeans, every chance I got.

Super fun...I think you should wear the heels with skinny jeans anyway!
You're right, I didn't know about your Goldie Hawn thing. (I'm secretly a Meg Ryan and Reese Witherspoon want-a-be)
How did the bride up-do go?
I love the Goldie Hawn thing, she's awesome. I watched an E! Hollywood story on her and Kate Hudson last Saturday. I am trying to imagine you with tons of hair, tight jeans, a tank top, and a never-ending giggle...it doesn't seem to suit you but I can see where it would be so fun. This is Jen, the only person you know who probably watches those E! Hollywood story things.
Ha ha, my first job was at TCBY. I very nearly got fired one day because my mom called in sick for me one day. It was pretty ironic because I had already given my two week's notice.
First of all, I wish SO MUCH that you could do my hair!!
I need to try sleeping with ear plugs. I'm so tired of the barking dogs in my neighborhood. More specifically, I'm tired of their rude owners who LET them bark outside at 7 AM!!
