Knob Dilemma

Here we are, the top of the hutch is now painted and distressed.
I need to figure out how to secure the glass panels back in. Duh, didn't think about that when I was taking them out!
But the real problem lies in me needing to make a decision. This, I'm bad at! My decision is what knobs I should go with.

Here are a few that suit my fancy from Anthropologie and Restoration Hardware. I love the butterfly knob, but I don't think it will work with the hutch. Anyone have an opinion or suggestions for knobs on the hutch? My ears are opened.

The hutch looks awesome! I love the knobs you have picked out, it's so interesting how it can easily change the look or feel of the hutch. I suggest you keep looking until you are happy with at least 3, then buy one of each and compare on the Hutch.
Here is a site: www.houseofantiquehardware.com

I can't wait to see it finished.

Looking good! I like the top middle one the best. I'd also like a brushed nickel type knob. I think it'd give it a Candace-Olson-Devine-Design look to it. Also maybe a black antigue type knob.

You've inspired me to go looking for a dresser for our bedroom to fix up. I love the white-washed look.

That looks great! I like all the knobs but I do like the butterfly ones the most out of the bunch. Only because they add a little something. I would be worried about the other knobs because they might blend in. What about something a little brighter?

I love your work...do you hire yourself out?

I would choose either the top middle or the butterfly.

You have such good taste and you have inspired me to get to work!

Looks great! I personally would choose a colorful knob to add a "pop" of color to the piece. I think I like bottom right one.

I would go with the top middle or the top left.

I like the top middle the best but I want to know what the wall paper looks like that your hanging inside before I make my final decision. And is this going in your kitchen or in your living room?

It looks great by the way!

What a major improvement! I am sure the hutch is just as happy as you are with it's new makeover. It will finally get noticed,(in a good way), and will have the love and adoration of it's family. Good Job Carolyn.

Oh Carolyn, That looks beautiful! Wow! It's a whole new hutch. I'm going to a furniture antique shop to look for knobs. Have you checked out ebay?

Carolyn,

The hutch is lovely. I know that my mother would be so proud of you and your undertaking! Mother was so artistic and would have really enjoyed seeing you exercise your creativity!

Love, Mom Waite
