Stuff like this makes my head spin. I have no interest in doing fixer up jobs. I would just like to look at a beautiful room from a page of a mag. and say, there, that's what I want this room to look like...then hire someone to do it for me. I admire you for this new emerging talent that you have! I wish it was in me. Keep up the remodeling, refinishing dream! Love ya!

What could be done with that bathroom. Everything! Please do something with it. Now I have to go and check it out so that I can feel right inside again after seeing the after shot.

I have not checked out the remodel but I must admit that I absolutely love a few things about this bathroom. The subway tiles, the adorable tile on the floor, the clawfoot tub...I almost don't want to see the remodel because if it has lost those things and is completely modern I will be disappointed. I am looking at the perfect bathroom now....just how it was 50 years ago. This is Jen, lover of tradition and subway tile.

That is a beautiful house. Truly impressive that they did all of that. I couldn't help but feel inspired.

That was a fun blog to look at. Actually, I think the bathroom you picked was a beauty compared to the other original bathrooms. Yuck! This bathroom still isn't done, right? I couldn't find it completely done. And I never found what she did with the refinished tub?

I love all the brownstones in NYC- it is fun to see all the renovations that take place. Meghan says that some day she want's to buy a fixer upper- she has it all planned out already. I think we watch a little too much Divine by design!

Carolyn--I found this link on your blog a few weeks ago and spent a good hour reading the entire blog! I was awed by all the work they did. I love the brownstone and how they restored it. The kitchen is beautiful!
