You know the day after you have the stomach flu virus and your stomach is still on edge, but it really needs something inside because it has been completely depleted of all of it's contents?
I'm sure we all know the two well known & obvious staples:
7-up. But not with all of the carbonation. It seems to go down so much easier after it has been stirred a few times.
And of course the good old Saltine Cracker which doesn't need any improvement.
But did you know there's a third staple to the home remedy? My mother came up with this one, and quite frankly, I didn't think it was true... until all three of the girls in this household enjoyed one, after a grueling couple of stomach flu days:
The Push-Up Popsicle!
But not just any kind of push-up. Orange push-ups. Unfortunately, I don't think one can buy a box of just orange. Yet luckily, this box came with 3. The right number needed to satisfy the Waite girl's poor-sad-upset-terrible-crying-recovering-stomach flu-stomachs. (you're suppose to feel totally sorry for us now.)
You might be questioning the Orange Push-up's power, as did I, but keep it in mind next time the Stomach Flu Virus invades your household. You might be pleasantly surprised!

Push ups always remind me of Grandme Gail!
That is so sad. I do feel bad for you and your stomach.
Pehaps the push-ups could be likened unto the pink sugar cookie and getting your wisdom teeth pulled.
I am so sorry. I wish I lived closer. I would hold the bowl for Eden and distract them so you could sleep. I am thinking the push-ups are a good idea no matter how you are feeling.
Mmmm, 7-up and saltines sound kind of good right now! I wonder if they would taste good on a healthy stomach?
Hope your feeling better!! Think spring cuz I'm soooooooo sick of being SICK!!! :)
I love 7up & crackers when I'm sick! My kids LOVE push-pops!
I didn't know you got it too! Yuck! Probably would have rather gone to the dentist than had the stomach flu.
