A Best Friend's Wedding

Remember way back, when I mentioned my life long best friend? Well, Aaron (my honey) has one of those life long best friends too!

Aaron(the honey) & Nathaniel (the buddy)

They grew up all their lives together in suburbia: Reno, Nevada.
I guess they were pretty much inseparable; one in the same... back then.

Since it is almost Halloween - here are the turkeys all decked out in whatever they could find around the house. Actually, Nathaniel's sister custom made his costume.Nathaniel as Mozart and Aaron as a "Rocker" of sorts.

A Bandit and Zorro, don't you know.

Aaron loves Nathaniel, and yes I used the word LOVE. Every single one of his childhood memories has Nathaniel involved. It wasn't hard for me to love Nathaniel too. He is very intriguing.
Nathaniel is an engineer living in San Fransisco. But engineering work, day in and day out, finally got to this spontaneous - full of adventure sort of guy. So he quit. He quit engineering to pursue a dream. He now makes movies for a living and plays drums on the side.
This is Nathaniel's home-made convertible van. Yes, he made it himself.
He cut off the top.
Well, isn't he resourceful?

The hottie with him & in all the other pics, is Shannon, his girlfriend.
It should go with out saying that a great person like Nathaniel found a sweetie who can totally hang with the likes of him... but then even more so. I could write a post just on her alone, but they all might think I was a little crazy and going slightly overboard.

What I'm trying to get at here is: They got married the last weekend of September! CONGRATULATIONS!
In Kauai none the less.
I have to tell you, Aaron was ab-so-lute-ly sick over not being able to make it to the wedding. I mean, I was upset about it too, but Aaron... he lost sleep, banged his head on things, probably threw up a few times, bit his arm, and foamed at the mouth over not being able to go to his very best, life long friend's wedding! What a shame in deed. But we are working through it.

I don't think Aaron would be the same person without having Nathaniel in his life.
At least Nathaniel is the type of friend who would make it to his best friend's wedding.
Hee, hee, hee... just kidding, Aaron. Okay, not funny.
Don't they look so young only 8 years ago?

Well, since these two newlyweds didn't think 3 weeks of a honeymoon in Hawaii was enough... they are now traveling, literally, across the country. Road tripping it. If you would like to read a blog full of adventures, check it out here.
Don't they seem so care free and full of fun & adventure? Ah, I'm totally going to live vicariously through these two.

And I just really love this picture of Shannon! The song "Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head" plays in my mind when I look at this. (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid)

Congratulation you two! Know I love you and Aaron just REALLY loves you.

Nathaniel is one of those great people that you met and never forget. I like hearing updates about him too because you know he going to do cool things! What kind of movies does he make?

I am really happy for his wife too and already know she too must be cool cuz she snagged Nathaniel.

Congrats!

Holy Cow I can't believe Nathaniel STILL has that van. He used to take me home from school in that van! Yeah, I was pretty surprised (and kind of upset) that Aaron didn't go to the wedding. But then he told me it was in Hawaii, so I kind of understood. This is such a sweet post! Nathaniel was like another brother to me. He fit in perfectly in the family. I'm so glad he found someone wonderful to marry--they look like the perfect match. And I hope his movies succeed. I'd be the first to check them out. I'll have to check out their blog.
