There were two girls that were very best friends. BFF as we like to call it. They spent almost everyday together since they were 5 years old. Those were the good ol' days of the original Cabbage Patch Dolls and Charm necklaces. Then one day, Marlena told Carolyn (we were 12 years old at the time) that she and her family were going to have to move far far far away to some place called Memphis, TN. It was devastating to say the least. Luckily those two friends kept in contact during those years. Carolyn would fly out to visit Marlena and Marlena would fly out to visit Carolyn.
Those two cute kids grew up and even went to college...together...
They learned lots of things (mainly life lessons and not book work, sorry Dad!)

Well time went on. They both got married, had babies, husbands in school... but then one day Carolyn got the news of her life. She and her family were moving to Memphis! Marlena's state! They got to be reunited again. What a wonderful life! BFF for ever more!

Nice tribute to our BFF. And to all those that look at this, my little Amzie is usually much cuter than that picture will lead you to believe.
Well, I think Amzie is cute in this picture, even with the sun in her eyes. She really is a cute cute girl!
Yeah!! We finally get to meet Marlena! That is so awesome that you two get to live near each other and have babies the same age. How far away is she from you? I'm sure have a BFF makes living in a new place so much easier.
I love the picture of the girls...I am sure that they will be great friends and flying to see each other in a few years...unless, that is, you are going to make Memphis permanent!
