Anybody There?

Uh, hello? Carolyn? Where are you?

Hi, I'm here. I don't know where I've been. No where really and nothing is going on. I don't know why I haven't been blogging lately.

We wake up
We eat breakfast
Kids want a bath
Dress girls
Dress myself
We go to Stroller Strides or Preschool and the Gym
We come home
I shower and kids want another bath
We eat lunch
Thing 2 naps while Thing 1 has "quiet time"
Thing 1 does a "craft" followed by play dough followed by computer games
Thing 2 wakes up
Run errands/do chores
Make dinner
Hope Husband/Dad gets to come home in time to eat with us and see kids
Do bedtime routine which includes 3rd bath of the day, but first time I actually clean the kids
Dry off kids
Put on pj's
Blow dry hair
Brush Teeth
Read books
Say Prayers
Get kids to bed
Clean up from day
Breath
Waste away the rest of the night by procrastinating anything I really should do.

Accomplishments:

Aaron...

  • getting to be the primary surgeon on a cataract case.
  • finding time to practice and play the piano.
Carolyn...
  • running! I ran my longest distance of 6.32 miles last Saturday.
  • couponing! I have calculated for the month of November I have saved over $540 by couponing and watching deals! That feels almost as good as running over 6 miles.
Eden...
  • starting to remember sight words and reading familiar sentences.
  • enjoys being the big helping big sister these days. We can get a lot more done under these pretenses.
  • loves to color, draw, paint, glue, tape, cutout, and write.
Ava...
  • entering very quickly into the "terrible twos".
  • favorite thing to say while holding one little pointer finger up by her face is, "one more?"
  • can't help but be extremely adorable when being her utmost naughtiest!
  • loves lipstick, lip gloss, and kisses - along with fingernail polish (the more glittery and sparkly the better).

Yep that sounds like a typical day! Although mine usually encompasses more kids (babysitting) and therefore less baths! LOL!

I love couponing, isn't it so addicitive!

WHAT????!!!!!! 6.32 miles????!!!! YOU ARE OFFICIALLY MY HERO!!!! And hello, it's Tuesday. We've talked on the phone at least five times since Saturday and you haven't said anything about 6.32 miles! Congratulations!

Good job Aaron on your surgery today. That's like a real live doctor, right?! : )

Eden, your picture is ADORABLE, and please send me some of your art work. It's one of my most favorite things to look at.

Ava girl I could kiss you a hundred times over. I can hardly wait for you all to move to Reno.....

Very impressed with the running!
You're going to need to give Cathy a call and ask her about the coupon class we went to tonight.

Yeah, your back in my life!!!

How would one start running? I mean one who can't make it around the block. I'm serious, email some motivation and tips.

...and apparently some coupons. Way to go chick!

It's so amazing what actually gets accomplished in a day! Impressive with the running, now that is something I wish I could fit into my schedule!

Some great accomplishments. Way to go on saving. I'm hoping I get into that in the future. I just hope that there will be deals on things we actually eat and use. Thanks for the update. I hope there will be more from you soon.

I miss Carrow. Please come back to the blog scene more often. PS-Went to 25+Main last weekend (per your post suggestion a while back) and LOVED it. Delightfully tasty I must say!

So....way to go with the running. That's a topic I can really get into. Couponing on the other hand, I have no idea how to do it. But I'd REALLY love to start. No, REALLY. Would you email me? I don't have a clue on this one.

Love ya!

Just stopping by A Daily Scoop and I'm glad I did. I think every mother's day goes something very similar to that. Amazing photos too by the way.

Sounds like you guys are busy to me. I can't believe we still haven't seen each other and you live so close. Maybe after the Holidays we can work something out.

PS: I can't believe the girls take 3 baths a day!!!

Hey...I need an address so I can send a Christmas card. I could just send directly to Tennessee, but am doubtful of the success of that particular tactic. Are you on facebook or something where we could exchange such information?
