A Girl Scout Cookie, Homemade

I went to a cookie exchange party yesterday and decided I should branch out and actually try a recipe which would require more than one step. I found the recipe for Homemade Samoa Cookies from one of the many recipe blogs I like to check on. This took 3 steps. Two too many.
After much deliberation, I decided on using dark chocolate. I mean sophisticated people alway like dark chocolate.

I guess I'm not one of those sophisticated types. I just couldn't enjoy these delectables without the milky milk chocolate... and that, perhaps, is a good thing. (I ended up not eating them)

Although I have to agree about the chocolate, these were still really yummy. I especially loved the crispy cookie on bottom.

You would think that I would be smart enough to notice the link. Obviously I am not working on a full tank.

No way--those are my favorite! But I think I'm too lazy to make them. I'd rather pay the 4.00 a box, or however much they cost now! (They were 2.00 a box when I sold them!)

So did they really taste like Girl Scout Samoa's? If you didn't eat them all up that's a huge clue that they didn't.

How awesome that you tried this recipe (I was the one that posted it on yummyfood4all.blogspot.com) but I really wish you would have mailed me a few to try. :) Have a great day!
