Once upon a time I swore I would never give my children fruit loops.
But that was before I even had children.
And so those days are behind me now.
This girl is just so sweet. What's a little more sugar going to hurt?
I can't help it. I get weak when it comes to those eyeballs. I think she could put me into a some kind of hypnotic trance.
At 14 months, she may not talk yet, but she can sign "more"... or at least when it comes to fruit loops.

She is a doll!! She looks likes Aaron so much!! We love Froot loops at our house!! :)
Ava should have whatever she wants.
There used to be a time when I had theories on how to raise kids and had no kids. Now I have kids and no theories on how to raise them.
Those are such adorable pictures. I love the little pink shoes.....is she walking all over now? She, she is a doll and surely deserves her sugary fruit loops.
Seems like I swore off those kind of things too, of course before I had kids. A few sugary snacks never hurt anyone, right?
Christopher didn't get froot loops, or white bread or McDonalds. I think Geoffrey had his first french fry because he found it in his car seat that was passed down from Annie.
With an expression like that I'd give Ava whatever she wants too!
I love those eyes. I can't believe she is walking. It will be fun to see how much she has changed when we see you next.
Ava Is SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
I said that about a lot of things...pacifier, sleeping in our room (in the Moses basket) drinking out of a sippy cup by age 1.........Whatever works, is kinda my motto these days!! Who doesnt love a good fruit loop!!
Harper
You always say that about a lot of things. She is so dang cute. I love those shoes. I just bought Laney the same ones. It is funny because I have shoes that are the same print. Is that a little hokey that our shoes are going to match?!
She has grown up so quickly the last couple of months...walking and her hair is growing....she is just beautiful.
Look at Ava! She's standing and walking! I can hardly wait to see her in June. She'll probably be running. I agree with you Carolyn about those enchanting eyes!
Love, Grandma Waite
Just in case you were wondering, your children are darling. Absolutely darling. What did I expect? I mean, look at their mom.
I loved it when Nathanael would sign for "more"- I caved to lucky charms, I am so glad he does not like them anymore.
OK- Ava looks just like her mommy. Look at those beautiful eyes! She is so adorable!!
Remember once upon a time, when you first met me at church? I think Madison was munching on some yummy green peppers? You were really impressed. To bad good things don't last. Now she tries to see how much sugar she can stuff in her mouth before I catch her. How times change! So, don't feel to bad about the fruit loops. The best of us cave in and bag the green peppers and apple slices for a little peace and quite that comes with giving in to our kids sugar pleas.
