Eden has lots of fun with her girlfriend Amzie. They find all sorts of things to get into when no one is looking...
The other night I was watching Marlena's kids for the evening. Everyone had on their P.J.'s. Eden tried on Amzie's Dora slippers and wouldn't take them off all night. Luckily, Amzie was in a charitable mood. At the end of the evening when the girls were winding down, I heard this conversation go down:
SCENE: Lights low, both girls lying next to each other in front of the television watching Frosty the Snowman.
Eden(while still wearing the slippers): Amzie, I like your Dora slippers.
Amzie: Uh huh.
Eden: I think I would like to keep them.
Amzie: No way, those are my Dora slippers!
Eden: Oh, Okay.
Amzie: Uh huh.
Eden: I think I would like to keep them.
Amzie: No way, those are my Dora slippers!
Eden: Oh, Okay.
I thought that was cute, Eden was diggin' these slippers so much, but I didn't think much of it until tonight when I was putting her to bed. Eden said, "Mom, Santa Clause is going to bring me Dora Slippers!"
I'm excited to get an actual first time Christmas request, although I'm hoping to find these things! Apparently Amzie's grandma gave them to her last year for Christmas.

Here they be. (Thanks to Ebay) I would purchase these, but they have been used, and I think I would much rather have 'em new. So if any of you other elves see these particular pink Dora slippers while out on your excursions, please help this newbie elf out. And as Dora would say, "muchas gracias!"

Wow... good luck. Michael surprised us by asking Santa for some toy wooden elves (we read a book that gave him the idea, I think). I've been to store after store... why aren't elves that popular??
Perhaps Eden would like a new/different version of the Dora slippers?? I think Michael's elves might not be wooden...

I don't know if you ever talked to Glenda but she said she picked up said slippers at Kmart last year. Kmart is definitely in a "day only" area of town. If you need directions or me to watch Eden when you go look, let me know. Amzie, meanwhile, requests a blue ring. Where do I find this?
Love the idea of a lotion bath. That picture is so fun! It's so much fun to see them "make fun" out of anything!
I think it is so cute when they finally ask for something from Santa. Yesterday at Church Gavin asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I asked him how much time he had :)
Stella has a LONG, very long list of Christmas requests. It's getting out of hand. Did you try Target or Walmart? Check online.
