The morning after Christmas, Cathy & Hannah, and I went out early to hunt down reduced Christmas ornaments.  I didn't realize how fun it would actually be, but it was fun... a little too much fun.  Let me just share with you:

Target opened at 7:00am.  We were there, standing in line with all the other crazies!

Next we hit Pier 1, opening at 8:00am

The butterfly is the same ornament.  I just wanted to show you the front and back.
And lastly we had enough time to make it on over to Pottery Barn, which opened at 9:00am.  How convenient, right?
I left the cardboard backing on this one for pictures.  You get the idea, though, huh?

There you have it.  I admit to some buyer's remorse afterwards when realizing the extent of shipping these highly fragile, breakable, glass ornaments home to TN!  But I don't really have any ornaments at the moment!  My tree is literally a "Charlie Brown" tree.  So now I have to wait a whole year, before I may reap the joys of these things!  So if you all can wait too, I will be posting some gorgeous pics of my gorgeous tree!

OOOooooooo......so pretty. Your tree next year will be so beautiful. I like all the colors: green, silver and gold. And the butterfly is very cool with the red on the back. Love them all!

WOWZA! Pretty, shiny, sparkly! I love them all. Maybe you could go home and do a trial run on you Charlie Brown tree - just to get an idea of what next year will look like...

Love them! You have such good taste.

Is there something wrong with a Charlie Brown tree...? That's all we have.

Wow, those store hours WERE convenient! It's almost like they planned it that way for you! Very pretty stuff. I frequently suffer from buyer's remorse. Thanks for the wikipedia read!

How much fun. Wish I could have come. I totally forgot about the whole after Christmas sale thing.

Carolyn, I'm glad you can get up early and spend $$$ to get Christmas ornaments. Because I certainly can't. Remembering that day, I slept through most of your shopping spree. If it were up to me we'd have our little 4 foot tree every year. I'm sad to see the Charlie Brown Christmas tree go next year. It's so sweet, small, full of Christmas Spirit, pre-lit, easy to take down and really convenient.

Once again I love all of the ornaments. Secondly, I had a great time with you and Cathy. And third...I am still doing some after Christmas shopping. How does that happen? Now it is super fun because everything is getting to be 75% off!!!
