At our house we all love oranges. We think they are really really yummy. It is such a wonderful thing when one gets lucky enough to pick a juicy sweet ripe orange. And there is nothing worse than picking a "pithy" dry orange.
Does anyone else know what "pithy" means? My mother taught me that word, and sometimes I wonder if she makes words up... (uh, well she does make up words, but that will be another post at another time...when Mom's in a good mood and doesn't mind the poking fun. Oh, but that will be one darn good post!)

Anyways, when Costco has them in stock we buy these juicy delights in bulk. Right now our Costco has mangoes which we are settling for. They aren't the same as oranges! Actually, Aaron is the only one that really likes mangoes enough to go through a whole case from Costco!
She is such a doll. Orange you glad I shared these photos? Ha ha, but really... us Waite's really really enjoy a good orange. So now you know.

We love those baby oranges, clementines, I think. My kids eat them like candy, which is good because I've eaten almost all their Halloween candy!
My dad says "pithy." He's from North Carolina, so I thought it was a southern thing, but maybe it's a generational thing.
We love oranges too! My kids will go through 20 lbs in a week. I use the word "pithy". I am not old or from the south. I am hoping it is a real word, but I wouldn't mind being on the same wave length with mama roundy!
Can't say that I am a huge fan of the orange. I love orange juice but not oranges. But I do love your sweet pictures and the outfit! super cute pants.
Carolyn... I love the last picture with Ava's tounge sticking out! It made me laugh!
man you get the BEST pictures of your kids! Perhaps its just that your kids are soo cute they don't take a bad picture!
About making up words . . . In "Alice in Wonderland" the Mad Hatter says something like: "That word means exactly what I say it means." I know people who use that rule frequently.
Grandpa O
I love oranges, but I also love mangoes. When I was in Bolivia they had lots and lots of mangoes. I ate them off the street. The reason maybe Aaron likes mangoes is because mangoes are grown in abundance in South America. Did he go to Chile on his mission? Can't remember. Who knows. I don't remember eating mangoes when we grew up.
