"The Autumn Leaves"

I have never witnessed an Autumn Day like I did this morning in my own backyard. It was probably what I would consider:

"The Perfect Type of Day"
  • Not hot, and not freezing. Just enough of a cool breeze and fresh air.
  • Gray clouds. The look and feeling right before it rains. It did rain right after this footage. You know, I love the "rain" colors so much that I even based my wedding colors after them... slate gray & silvery blue. I guess that doesn't sound too great for a wedding, but I did throw in pinks as well. Well, I liked it anyway.
  • Crunchy leaves and Fall smells.
  • And my whole family was home with me!

Hmmm, is it Hot Chocolate time yet?

So peaceful! I love trees. There is something to be said of a place that you can see the leaves change colors. It looks like you found your little piece of heaven!

I love the FALL out here! There are so many trees that you get an array of beautiful colors. One of my favorite times during the year. And everyone gets so festive for the holidays.

Our Fall just seems to keep going, as we keep enjoying beautiful weather. Some leaves are beginning to turn. I vow to have trees in our yard by next year so that maybe we can do some raking (or at least break out the blower).

Oooh I love the fall too. It just seems like in the past couple days all of the sudden everything is changing. I would also prefer it to be a little cooler. But it's definitely hot chocolate time. If you don't have any you can come over and have some with me. By the way, have you ever had the caramel apple cider from Starbucks? It's delicious. I highly reccomend it.

I love fall. Enjoy it lots for me and the rest of the Las Vegans. Everytime I see your chickens for some reason it cracks me up.

Beautiful. We never have fall in our backyard. It looks pretty. We're thinking Carolyn has sort of taken to Tennessee.

Thank you for that. What a beautiful setting for your family. Do the Chickens really just roam? Where do they sleep? I think I'll make a vanilla steamer and watch it again!
