My Baby, again...

Every night before I go to bed, I check on my girls and wish them sweet dreams.
I found Eden, asleep in the crib. Yes, it is in her room. No, she doesn't sleep in it. I don't think she has slept in the crib for almost a year. The crib sits empty in her room awaiting the younger sister.
I bet she's dreaming of times gone by. Long long ago. When she was once her momma's only little baby.

So cute! Her jammies remind me of Thing 1 & Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss. (Did I spell that right?!)

How cute! Love the monkey blanket!

Kenna, when I was posting this, I totally thought that you would see her blanket and like it. We call it the "monkey blanket" and it, for some reason, has always reminded me of you.

That is SO sweet! Okay, but did you freak out a little when you looked in her room and didn't see her in her bed? Once when I was little, my mom couldn't find me because I had fallen out of my toddler bed and rolled all the way underneath it!

One more thing...James still sleeps in his crib every night, and he's like 6 months older than Eden! He's never climbed out of it, and I'm in no hurry to change because it works for us! Julia on the other hand...She was completely done with her crib at 21 months. You just never know.

Really? What part of it reminded you of it?

Kenna ~ The blanket is just a funny, cool thing. I mean it's pink, has monkeys and heart, and it's soft. For some reason it popped in my head, "This blanket looks like something Kenna would dig."

Carolyn....these pictures kinda make me cry. I love it when my older kids do something that they used to do as "little kids". It reminds me that we are never too old for some things. ps. where does Ava sleep?

Hey Jamie... I don't know if you will ever read this, but Ava sleeps in the pack n play in the toy room.
