8 Bags Worth

My neighbor grew a monster size zucchini and shared it with us.  I made zucchini bread out of it.  4 loaves!  It was huge.  He brought me over a few more gigantic zucchinis.  I thought, what on earth am I going to do with all of this?  ... then it dawned on me to freeze it.  So I prepped it up for making bread.  Shredded it, measured it out in 2 cups worth (because that is what my recipe calls for), and then bagged it.  Now in the winter I will have plenty of yummy zucchini bread!  I mean PLENTY... I froze 8 bags of this and each bag is enough for 2 loaves!  What did you do with your zucchini this year?

Notice all the bottles and such in the background?  I was having to run my dishwasher twice a day with just bottles to keep up with all the demand.  Until it finally dawned on me to just break down and purchase more bottles.  I don't know why that was so hard for me to understand?  But now I have enough bottles and nipples to last a whole days worth... only run the dish washer once now!

Holy cow, monster zucchini?! I eat zucchini with onions, corn season salt sauteed in butter, my fav! You could open up a zucchini bread business, LOL. I enjoy reading your blog, so fun! Hope your enjoying Colorado! :)

Yeah, I totally get the bottle thing. We have only one bottle. That's right one. I'm sure one of these days I will smarten up and buy more!

Yes, the day I discovered a bottle for every feeding for each baby so I only had to wash them once a day was a miraculous one! Thankfully I discovered it early. But the sucky thing was that I had to invest in 2 bottle systems!!! Round 1 was with the Advent ones which I HATED and #2 was with the best bottles ever, Born Free. Oh well, Tammy was able to benefit from my large collection of Advents! Hope we can chat soon!

Aren't bottles expensive? I wish I got that many zucchinis from my garden. I have three large plants and only got 5 zucchinis. I was sad but still enjoyed some zucchini bread.
