It Was Hard For Him to Swallow

Boyfriend will never live this down!

We started Netflix. I love this service. A few days ago I checked the mail and found that the movie I ordered had arrived... TWILIGHT.

Boyfriend whined and complained about the movie we received. He was hoping for the one he ordered...

...the 1929 silent movie, Nosferatu!

If he was in the mood for vampires, then he better sit down and watch Twilight with me!

"No way! I swore I'd never watch that stupid movie! I won't watch it!" - He said, while kicking and pouting.

None the less, I MADE him watch it. He did make fun of a lot of things, but I didn't mind. They were all the scenes I made fun of too. You have to admit, the movie was pretty cheesy in parts. But I have to tell you he ended up needing control of the remote, so he could pause any time I started talking or commenting. He would even rewind it if I interrupted too much! Boyfriend had to swallow all his pride because I really rubbed the whole thing in!

The best part was the next day when I was sealing the envelope to send the movie back, Boyfriend stopped me, "Wait," he said, "I kind of wanted to watch it again. There was a cool guitar part I want to listen to."

He even suggested that when the next movie comes out in November, instead of me going with all the other girls for a "girls night out", I go with him!

WHAT?!?!?!?!

he shouldn't feel too bad... I've even gone on to read ALL the books... they really aren't too bad.

HA! I love it! I made Josh watch it too. I hated the movie the first time I saw it, but I'm such a big Twilight fan I had to watch it again, and now I can't wait for the second one to come out. Too bad we can't double date it!

Boys! I made Dusty watch it the other night too - and now HE can't wait to see the next one. I even think he liked it better than I did the first time since I laughed my way through a certain part, and he was totally into it!

Too funny... I still don't think Steve would watch it. I am going to have to stick with the going with the girls in Nov.

Tell him to go see it with Wade. And you can still go with your girlfriends.

Are you guys all coming in a couple weeks or just Aaron? I'd love to see you and your girlies!

Oh, I know exactly! While i was reading the book series I was CONSTANTLY teased by my dear sweet husband. And then one day I came home to find him curled up and already halfway finished reading TWILIGHT! Then he finsihed all of them before I did!! Of course when the movie came out he brought it home for "me". yeah right ;)

Carolyn . . . you be nice to "Boyfriend"; he's the best husband you have. Let him watch whatever he wants.

Ha! All men secretly like those cheesy chick flicks. Although, Nosferatu is a pretty sweet film. Your honey, my bro, took me to see it at BYU when I was in school. It was my first foreign film and we laughed most of the time because like Twilight it too was cheesy at times.

HAHA!! Dave suggested we watch it a couple of nights ago and my jaw dropped!! I, of course, have watched it millions of times and forced him to watch it once previously...not to mention that I got him to read the books and he actually liked them. If you ask him he won't admit it, but when he says he is going to bed and then 3 hours later I find him "pretending" to be asleep with the book hidden under a pillow--I think it is safe to say that he liked it!!

Choice! I love teasing Clint about the fact that he's read all the books. I'd say, "Give me back my teenage girl romance novel!" And Clint always something about like the historical aspect...blah, blah... Ha!

Classic! I love it! I made Jonathan watch it too, and to my surprise, he didn't hate it either! That is a great post! We sure miss you guys!

Ha ha ha! Adam did the exact same thing! Looks like the next movie will be a date night instead of a girl night! :)

Tom always does this with the British shows I like. He is always making fun of me and my "snooty" shows (any show with British accents), but 99% of the time he ends up loving them.

That is so funny! Sounds just like Ian... since we don't have Netflix anymore, he won't likely be tricked into watching it though.
