This is what our weekend consisted of... ripping up the CARPET in the front bathroom and the old stained tile.
Gross! 
Who puts carpet in a bathroom? Well, we don't.
Boyfriend found some tile on a great sale, we couldn't pass it up.
The tile is glued down, but we still need to grout, seal, and put up new baseboards, paint. Oh yeah, and replace the toilet that is occupying the tub. Right now we are all enjoying the opportunity to share our master bath!

Boyfriend is talented. Where does he get these ideas? How does he cut the diagnals for the tiles? How does he cut the small pieces? Who is his best helper?
The tile looks great! Are you doing the same thing in the master bath?

We had carpet in both bathrooms when we moved in - Layne was a bit confused a took it all out. (Can't think of a good reason for carpet in a bathroom - especially with children.)
I'm more inspired now to put something real under our feet. Thanks!

Looks great so far! Post a finished pic, too, after you grout, seal, put up new baseboards and paint. Are you just touching-up the current paint or totally going with new paint?
