My parents came for a quick visit. It was therapy for me.
Everyday, Grandma had a little gift for the girls to open. The first day of their arrival, it was make-up!
They loved it, and still love it!
We enjoyed antique shops, BBQ, good friends, and each other.
We also went to the River Walk, which is a replica of the Mississippi River. Every 30 feet represents a mile.
Grandma is helping Ava cross the river. The park keeps the water level consistent with the real river's water level. You can see that it's pretty low.
Then we saw this fox enjoying a quiet view of the river.

A fox? On Mud Island? That's crazy! Wish I could've seen your parents. I know my family enjoyed seeing them. They are so great!
Aren't grandparents the best! I love it when my parents visit or when we visit them. It's always the therapy I need!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that first picture of Mom, Dad, and the girls in your park - I mean backyard.
Sigh, isn't therapy great?!
We love visits from the grandparents and hanging out too. Looks like a fun visit.
Love your parents! You must be so happy to have them back even if you live far away. At least they can visit you now! Beautiful pictures!
Yeah for grandparents visiting! Looks like a fun visit! Oh, and I LOVE the new haircut! Gorgeous as always!
Carolyn, I'm so glad I found your blog!! What an adorable family you have.
I've been thinking of you. My hair is getting too long, and I'm missing my all-time favorite stylist...
PS: This might be helpful for hanging pictures!
