Home, Home on the Range

This weekend Boyfriend finished some projects around the house. So the girls and I went out for a while to give him a kid free work space.

So let me show you my favorite jogging spot here in Memphis. Shelby Farms. The girls and I jog here at least 3 times a week.

One of the coolest sites are the buffalo!
They are such snarly looking beasts, and remind me of the good ol' West.
I weighed Eden yesterday... 40 lbs. Ava weighs 25ish lbs. That equals 65+ pushing this thing! I don't know how Boyfriend did it last week at the 5K.
Shelby Farms has lots of routes to jog but I enjoy the trail around the lake. I think it's like 1.5 miles one time around. I have to announce that I actually jogged one whole time around with out stopping and then another time around jogging half of it. This is HUGE for me. The coolest part was after the first time around I stopped to get the girls their drinks and a man came racing to us. "Man", he said, "You are one fast momma with that thing! I have been trying to catch you from the beginning!"

Awesome, I thought!!!!!

I asked him if he wanted to go again, but he informed me he wouldn't, seeing that he just finished his 7th mile. "Oh," I said.

I always liked running at shelby farms too. Great trails and some good hills too.

Looks like a scenic route. Can I just say how impressed I am with you pushing the extra 65 lbs!

You are a hot mama! (Maybe the guy was trying to pick you up....)

Way to go on the running! And, it really does look like a beautiful spot!

I really miss running. I walk instead now but there is just something about running. I had no idea that you get to visit buffalo. I don't think I have ever seen one in real life. Really cool.

If you jog too much, you'll be late for your funeral.

What a fun blog! I saw it on the resident's wives page and noticed you are doing Ophthalmology, too! I would love to keep in contact and know how you do it, what to expect and if there is an end in sight. We're just starting Intern year so nothing real until next year...Also, one of our good friends the Larsens just started school out in Memphis, perhaps you have met them! Anyway, hope you have some great holidays and it would be fun to keep in touch...
