Part of being a mother is teaching your children to learn how to be independent, right? You know, teach them to function responsibly on their own.
My 3 yr old loves to get out of the bathtub when I'm not looking. I often find her running around the house with just her towel tugged around her shoulders. I got smart. During her next bath, I put out her clothes. Right there on the bathroom floor.
"Eden, here are your clothes. So when you are ready, you can just put them on all-by-yourself."
After a little while I see Eden walk into the living room fully dressed. "Great job, Eden!" But then she slapped her tummy and I heard that wet spolsh. I really should have explained the steps more explicitly. Eden did get dressed... when she was ready... which didn't necessarily mean when she was done bathing. That girl, clothes and all, were dripping sopping wet.
...and then I had to take a picture so I could totally blog it! Ha ha ha ha

That is too funny! I like the red patriotic nails, too.
I love 3 year-olds! I have a picture of Thomas sitting in the tub with all his clothes on. Too bad it was before the blogging days. I actually have it hanging up in his bathroom. I'm glad you made it home in one piece. I am anxious to hear how your flight went.
She just followed your directions!
Genius! I love how her little mind works.
Eden and Ava get me to missing having little people around. Scrumptious!
Maybe you should just place the clothes in the hall so that they are out of reach. I am impressed that she was able to get them on. Wet clothes are the worst!
