Yesterday was the funeral for Camille. I am grateful I was able to attend and I have also felt truly blessed.
These are the loving hands of Camille, Stephanie, and Stephanie's mother. A loving bond.
Jonathan and Stephanie (Camille's parents, my husband's brother) both spoke. Stephanie was adamant to only have it be a happy, uplifting and celebrated service about Camille. I knew they had such courage and spiritual strength through all of this - but to hear the messages that they wanted to say and listen to their, now stronger, faith in the Savior and his eternal plan... I don't have the words to describe my feelings. Jonathan and Stephanie were inspired. I felt that loving feeling from the Spirit of the Lord which was present ~ it was practically palpable. I left a different person. Actually, I felt humbled to get to be apart of such love felt in that chapel. It was a special experience for me. So sweet.
I hope you read how Stephanie felt about it all on her blog, here.

I was hoping to finally meet you in person! Aaron did such a great job at the piano (of course). It was an amazing funeral service with such a strong spirit! Next time you guys are in Vegas (or St. George) we will have to get together.
My heart and prayers are with your family during this hardship. May time bring you comfort and solace. I'm sorry, and I love you.
Carolyn, You are married to a wonderful family. What great strength your brother & sister in-law have. They will continue to be in my prayers in thoughts!
xoxo
Nancy told me about your niece, and I was so sad to hear such a tragedy. What a beautiful baby, and what an incredible perspective her parents have. I followed your link to their blog and thought it was sweet of Stephanie to thank everyone who had hugged their own children a little tighter since the accident. We can all learn so much from her!
