Driving in my car today, all by myself. There was some construction work so the two lane road was at a stand still for a few moments.
I had just gotten my hair done, which means it was blown out all forward into my face. I had on my new overly huge sunglasses that not only shade my eyes, but practically cover my entire face. I was also chatting on my cell phone which would have been covering the lower half of my face. Do you see the picture I'm painting for you? My face was pretty much undercover. Not much to see.
At one point I glance over to the car beside me (going the other way, so the driver was right next to me). This driver was giving me a frantic wave. I smiled and waved back. He then mouthed, "You are be-aut-i-ful". Uh, awkward.
He might have looked something like this but with dark glasses and a cigarette:
I quickly glanced in my rear view mirror to see what he was talking about. You know, he was totally right! That tip of my nose which was the only part exposed to the world was quite gorgeous! And then I was happy that the chubby bald man told me so.

Awhile back while I was ordering food at McDonalds the guy at the register was totally flirting with me. No, he was not fifteen...maybe thirty, which oddly enough makes it worse, but I liked it anyway. I came home and told Brett, barely hiding my excitement. I am a geek but it is nice to think that someone besides your husband and your mom thinks you are beautiful once in a while. I love this story Carolyn. Jen Bunker
Nothing can make your day more than a random flirt from some random guy! I got a free soda from an older Mexican fellow at a Mexican resturant the other month and I won't lie, it made my entire year. Way to have a gorgeous nose you beautiful girl!
You know, I have always been jealous of that nose of yours. Funny how a small comment from a stranger can make your day.
That happened to me recently with a couple of hillbillies in a pick-up truck. I heard a honk, so I looked over and these two guys waved and smiled at me. I just smiled and waved back! I had on big sunglasses, too!

Just kidding, I guess he didn't see the carseats in the back, or maybe that didn't matter. Heck, of course it didn't matter- you're cute no matter what! How funny!

There is a chevron gas station in the Galena area of Reno, by Raley's I think, where I would go quite often to refill my Diet Coke. This new gentlemen started working there, and never charged me for it. He would just smile and say, "It's on me doll face ;)" Totally made this mom's day.
That is hilarious! If you have to take a great comment from a bald chubby stranger sitting in traffic...take it because he is right...you are beautiful. I'm dying laughing out loud right now. Talk an awkward moment!
