Last summer when we moved to the south, we really enjoyed spotting a red cardinal in our back yard. It always seemed like such a treat when we would catch a glimpse of him. We tried many times to take his picture, but they would either be blurry through the window or he would fly away. Now that it's spring, I'm happy to report he is back!
Aaron actually caught a photograph of him! I wonder why the cardinal was so cooperative this time around? Hmmm, let's look a little closer...

It reminds me of Missouri! It never got old to see such beautiful birds! Especially when you have grown up in the desert with nothing but pigeons and whatever those other little grey birds around here are called around.
I SO wish I could come for a Spring visit but with Taj and for a week this time! Sigh...
