Finger Tapping

It's precisely 6:53pm, Wed. evening.  I have my shoe laces tied and ready to prance out the door the nano second Aaron arrives home.  Maybe it's pathetic that I'm this excited to buy milk?

But as I wait for my husband, tapping my fingers on the computer desk, I'm listening to Eden sing herself to sleep with, "Oh Holy Night". Not Oh Holy Night the song, but just singing the words"oh holy night" over and over and over again.
I might be going insane.  Milk, I'm coming any minute (or hour).  I might just need to stop by Starbucks for a Vanilla Steamer!  That will make everything all better.

Love the starbucks steamers, my daughter get's one every morning before seminary.
And yes, sometimes a drive to pick up milk all alone can be very theraputic!

I am impressed you had them in bed by 7! Good work!

I remember spending a good hour wandering the store to buy milk, if I was alone. I also would be sure to catch up on the magazine aisle as well.

Now I see the younger Mom's at Target and can't believe I did that for so many years.

It is so worth it!

Agree with all the others. I meticulously plan what I am going to do when Blake gets home from work. We will go here and then here and then here. If I can go some where by myself great! If they come along at least Blake is holding them in the cart not me.
