It was good to go to church! For some reason today, I was reminded of why I go to church and try to live, what I believe to be the true gospel of Jesus Christ, day in and day out.
Our church meeting time was changed for the year to 12:00pm. There could not be a worse time for my girls to be reverent & quiet. They were hungry and TIRED! But, it's not just about going to church, but why I go... to learn about my Savior and His gospel, and renew my covenants with him, by taking the sacrament. I'm so grateful for the knowledge and understanding I have come to learn of God's son, my Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to be a righteous and worthy daughter of God.
I'm grateful for the guidance I have been given in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. It is amazing to think that what the ancient prophets wrote so long ago were actually written for our time today. The Last Dispensation.
"Wherefore, they are of worth unto the children of men, and he that supposeth that they are not, unto them will I speak particularly, and confine the words unto mine own people; for I know that they shall be of great worth unto them in the last days; for in that day shall they understand them; wherefore, for their good have I written them."

So, I felt compelled to voice a little of my testimony of what I believe. And believe me, I could go on, but I'm done for now. Good night, "ya'll".

Taj is sick so I wasn't able to go to church today and I really missed it for a lot of the same reasons you just wrote about. Thanks Carolyn! That helped me today, just what I was needing to hear.
look at your little missionary moment. Loved it!
Carolyn, Thank you for your testimony!!
Love you, Carolyn.
Thank you for sharing! I also missed church, stayed home to cough, and I enjoyed your thoughts.
Beautiful, beautiful! I think that's the first time I've heard your testimony so now I can quit worrying. Just kidding. I would love to change church to noon--9 a.m. is a little hard for our family.
