Natalie asked: Have you ever met anyone famous?
I did see Mike Tyson in my rear view mirror as he pulled up behind me in his some kind of convertible fancy red sports car while in Las Vegas.
Does anyone watch Criminal Minds on CBS? Well if you do, then you might know Dr. Spencer Reid
His real name is Matthew Gubler. He also plays the voice of Alvin in the new movie Alvin and the Chipmunks. Well Matt is from Las Vegas. He knew my sister, Cathy. They were friends and he asked Cathy to his prom. So I have met him, but that was before he as famous. "Hi Matt! Way to go!" Oh, wait, he won't be reading this.
Also, my little sister and I used to be in love with a band while in high school. I'm sure you have never heard of them, The Dance Hall Crashers. Cathy and I know every single word to every single one of their songs. Any concert within our vicinity we attended. Also at every single one of those concerts, at some point, we managed to get ourselves picked to go up on stage and sing with them. Now that is some kind of feat in my book. Here is one of their ghetto music videos. I don't even think they are around anymore. I've lost track.
Technically, no I have never really met anyone famous, so this is as close as I've come...
I did see Tyra Banks walking down the street while I was sitting in an outside cafe with my roommates in college.I did see Mike Tyson in my rear view mirror as he pulled up behind me in his some kind of convertible fancy red sports car while in Las Vegas.

hey you forgot anout the time we saw SteveYoung and Ronny Lott at the SLC airport. Oh yeah, and David Hasselhoff! How could we forget the Hasselhoff in his sexy leather jacket!
Oh, I LOVE Dance Hall Crashers! Their shows were always so much fun!
Couldn't you count your dad? He does have a school named after him.
Love the post. It's funny how many "famous" people you see in the city. Tyra would be hard to miss, she's so tall. That is how I spotted Uma.
And don't remember this band? Maybe because I am the Duran Duran era? Shameful and funny! And yes, even a big Wham fan, cringe. Love the 80s though, nothing like it!
This is fun!
hee hee, that's awesome!
I'm sorry did you say "used to be in love DHC"? I beg to differ!! I guarantee that if I kidnapped you and we drove around blaring our DHC you would totally get your rock out on! Shoot! Who am I kidding! I do this all the time!
Don't you know some of the band members from The Killers?
