Not Quite Done

Whelp, here's what continued to happen at my house Thursday night.
Finally, the last slate tile. Yes, my honey is a proper gentleman and raises his little finger, thank you.
Just one more adjustment... and
It's still not done! This thing needs grout & the removal of anything gold and shiny & someday wood floors. There will still be some more posting.

Hey, this is lookin' good. Aaron should probably give up his quest to be an eye surgeon and go into tile and masonary work.

What's next?

Very nice, very nice. What did the "before" look like?

Carolyn, this looks so good! I love the slate tile! Does the gold shiny stuff have to be replaced with something else, or just removed?

Very nice! Looks great and goes well with the paint color. You can get fire proof black paint to paint the "anything gold" part if it can't be removed. We're excited about the wood floors, too!

The slate looks great with your paint color! I can't wait to see you add some more of that rusty orange color to the room. You might think I'm crazy but I couldn't sleep the other night (one of the joys of being pregnant) and I think I came up with a solution for the furniture placement in your living room so you can show off that beautiful new slate.

Call me if you need some help. I have tools and skills. Looks good.

Brad ~ consider yourself called, so come on over. We have lots of work to do.

Le ~ I'm so glad you are pregnant and can't sleep. I think I will benefit from it. So fly your pregnant self over and rearrange my furniture, will ya?

I'm glad I have such helpful people in my life.

Glad to see Aaron is more motivated than Josh when it comes to home improvment projects. Well, Josh was motivated the first 6 months - it's just gone downhill since!

It looks great! Good job Aaron!

Looks nice! I'd love to see the whole room. I still wish we lived within minutes of each other so we could spend time helping each other update our homes, and share ideas....

Wow! It looks so good! I'm very impressed. What was the before pictures? Yeah, give Aaron another 6 months and then you'll be hiring the renovations out.

I love it! How nice to have a handy husband. And that green color on the walls is great! We are looking for something like that for our living room. May I ask what paint/color it is?

We miss you guys, and hope you are all well. Give Ava and Eden hugs for us.
