So I own a cow. Did you know that about me? Okay, actually I own part of a cow and I've never met her.
Alright, I'll get to the point... I buy my milk straight from the lady who milked the cow. They are her two jersey cows. She loves these girls and takes care of them as though they were her children. Conclusion: she is very clean with them and the milk. She milks her cows everyday of course, but on Monday she milks, then strains the milk, then bottles the milk for ME to pick up every Monday afternoon. That's right, the milk is not pasteurized! Raw milk! You can read all about the supposed benefits and risks of drinking this stuff here. Personally, I just thought it would be such a novelty to enjoy. The law actually doesn't allow the selling of this white stuff raw, so to get around that I belong to a cow share... I own part of the cow.
Oh, and by the way... the milk is yummy. Taste like whole rich creamy milk. I dare you to come visit. You will get fresh eggs from my backyard chickens and raw milk. If you dare.

wowzers! that is super interesting. you're full of surprises. very cool indeed.
Carolyn,
I'm excited to meet your cow and try some of the raw milk (Don't tell Dan - he's not so excited.) Plus if Dan drank it growing up then for sure it's good for you - look how smart he is!
Okay, C Owen is my dad... and what's funny is that reading his comment I believe he thinks these cow pictures are actually from the cow I drink from... So what makes it even more funny is if you look closely at the first picture and the cow's spots, you just might see a map of the world. Dad!
The cow milk tastes too cowish to me, but Carolyn says I got a bad batch. Maybe I'll be brave and try it again...
You got me. Dad
Have you made milkshakes yet? That's about all I would be interested in trying! :)
