I got myself a patchouli plant today. I've always loved the smell and now I can enjoy it year round. I've found if I pluck off any yellow leaves and then throw them in the microwave for a minute, my whole house smells yummy!

Patchouli always makes me think of Brynn! I am jealous. Do you know if that would grow here in Vegas? I didn't realize it was such a pretty plant.
Oh, my goodness. I want a patchouli plant! Can you make homemade oil? I'm sure it would grow in my neck of the woods. Where did you get it?
I haven't researched out how to extract the oil from the plant. I would think it might be complex, but maybe worth it. I got my plant from the farmers market here in town. You could probably call around to the nurseries in your area.
