My Goodbyes

This is the day we set out for our drive across country. I had to say goodbye to Dad, but luckily I had Mom the whole three days in the car.


We loved our year in Vegas just because we got to be so close to all of our family. It was hard to say goodbye before we left for Tennessee, but it has been especially hard to say goodbye to Mom and Dad. They are leaving in a week for the Philippians. My father was asked to serve the church as the Executive Secretary to the General Authority out there and my mother will be his assistant. I think he loves that part! It was a surprise to all of us when they were called. They didn't have mission papers out or anything. But what was even more surprising was when they were asked to come 5 months earlier than planned! I'm so proud of them and I can't wait to here of all
their wonderful adventures. I love you Mom and Dad.
